SAMI suspends all relations with the Russian collective management organisations for the rights of performers, VOIS and RUR

SAMI strongly condemns Russia’s attack on the Ukraine and now joins other organisations in expressing their support for the Ukrainian people.  SAMI has therefore decided to suspend its agreement with the Russian performer organisations indefinitely.  No exchange of remuneration will be made so long as the sanctions against Russia remain.

SAMI is deeply concerned for the Ukrainian people, including several artists, musicians, and colleagues along with their families.  Our thoughts and sympathy go to the brave people who are now forced to risk their lives as they fight for democracy and freedom.
